Mesa Verde Middle School Music (MVMS-Music)

ABOUT US

Mesa Verde Middle School is located in Moorpark CA. Mesa Verde Music Program is under the direction of Mr. Evan Ilic. 

The music program at Mesa Verde offers a variety of ensembles for students of all different playing abilities.  

The music program include:

• PUMA Band (Beginning) 

• Wind Symphony (Intermediate)

• Wind Ensemble (Advanced)

• PUMA Strings (Beginning)

• String Orchestra (Advanced)

• Jazz Band A 

• Jazz Band B

Students engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering instrument techniques, musical fundamentals, theory, history, and essential rehearsal skills. 

Through their musical journey, they cultivate teamwork and collaboration, excelling as integral members of an ensemble to achieve outstanding results. 

Our advanced groups showcase their talent and dedication through adjudicated festivals, fundraising events, and an array of enjoyable performance opportunities.
